There have been many studies asking clients or potential clients what they expect from the services of an Independent financial advice company. Surprisingly only 30% of those surveyed* noted investment performance as being the most important feature. The answers were instead heavily loaded on the relationship aspect of what we offer.
We currently run 7 risk rated portfolios which are reviewed every quarter. An individual email is sent to each investor outlining the proposed advice and portfolio changes for their acknowledgement.
This mix can be easily split into two groups – Investment focus and Relationship focus.

Our Investment solutions are at the core of the business. We understand that one solution does not fit all. Our recommendations are based on a detailed risk discussion identifying the need for growth or Income. The investment solution we recommend will depend on your investment horizons and goals and also your attitude to cost.

Chris heads a team of 11 people whose focus each day is to deal with the day to day dealings of our investment portfolios. Chris has over 30 years’ experience in financial services. After having joined Prudential in 1982 as a Financial Adviser, he later moved to a national IFA firm in 1999 as an Independent Financial Adviser which by 2006 evolved into the Pension & Investment Portfolio Management Services as we know today.
Relationship Focus
A good client Relationship is vital to our business. We look for long term clients not quick win business. We provide guidance through our weekly email service and quarterly newsletter focusing on topical financial services issues. We provide specific Guidance by dealing with speed and reliability to questions on email and via the telephone.
The Knowledge that we can be contacted and a swift response guaranteed gives clients reassurance they have an advice network close to hand at any given time. We also provide the technology tools to access portfolio details and real time valuations of investments via our website or i-tunes app. Trust is something we earn over time – our client retention rates are the best indication that our clients trust us.
